History and anecdotes
Château La Conseillante, situé en Pomerol, est la propriété de la Famille Nicolas depuis plus de 150 ans. L’histoire du domaine débute au XVIIIème siècle lorsque Catherine Conseillan constitue et donne son nom au vignoble. C’est l’une des plus célèbres propriétés, voisine de Château Cheval Blanc et Pétrus. Elle doit son succès grâce à une qualité constante au cours des siècles.
Château La Conseillante opère un tournant stratégique dans les années 70 en intégrant l’un des premiers chais technologiques de la région lui permettant de créer des cuvées plus précises. En 2012, elle intègre aussi un cuvier parcellaire pour aller encore plus loin dans la quête d’excellence.
